Terms of Use

These Terms govern use of “Modern Style | Four Pillars & Five Elements,” provided by 合同会社Atbase.

1. Application

These Terms apply to use of the web service “Modern Style | Four Pillars & Five Elements” (the “Service”) provided by 合同会社Atbase (the “Company”). By using the Service, users are deemed to have reviewed these Terms.

2. Service

The Service uses Four Pillars concepts to display reference information about natal charts, Five Elements balance, timing, compatibility, Kūbō (Tenchūsatsu), and related topics based on birth date, optional birth time, birthplace, and other information entered by the user.

Four Pillars has different schools, methods, and interpretations. The Service may differ from books, practitioners, or other services.

3. Fees and registration

The Service is currently completely free and does not require registration. It does not currently sell paid products, accept paid reading requests, or charge subscriptions.

If paid functions are added in the future, fees, payment conditions, contents, and other required information will be shown before an application is made.

4. Nature of results

Results are reference information and entertainment based on divination concepts. They do not guarantee future events, profits, success, romantic outcomes, health conditions, or other results.

For medical, legal, tax, investment, employment, contractual, or other matters requiring professional judgment, do not rely on the Service alone. Consult an appropriate professional or public institution when necessary.

5. Input information

Users enter birth date, birth time, birthplace, nickname, and other information at their own responsibility. Inaccurate input, unknown birth time, or a birthplace outside the supported correction method may change the displayed results.

6. Prohibited conduct

• conduct that violates law or public order
• conduct that infringes the rights or interests of the Service or a third party
• unauthorized access, excessive load, or interference with service operation
• unauthorized reproduction, sale, or redistribution of programs, text, design, or other materials beyond what is permitted by law
• impersonation or use of false information to disadvantage another person
• other conduct the Company reasonably determines to be inappropriate

7. Intellectual property

Rights in the programs, text, screen design, original explanatory content, and other materials that make up the Service belong to the Company or other legitimate rights holders.

8. Changes, suspension, or termination

The Company may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service when reasonably necessary for maintenance, failures, security, legal compliance, or operation.

9. Disclaimer and scope of liability

The Company makes reasonable efforts to maintain accuracy, completeness, fitness for purpose, and continuity, but does not guarantee them.

To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for loss arising from use of the Service except where liability cannot legally be excluded, including cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

10. Privacy

Handling of user information is governed by the separate Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

The Company may revise these Terms when laws or the Service change or when otherwise necessary. For important changes, the Company will endeavor to provide clear notice through the Service.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Japanese law. Unless otherwise required by law, disputes related to the Service shall be subject to the agreed jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Company’s head office as the court of first instance.
